Busy!! Ahhhhh!!!!

Sun Mar 15, 2009, 10:47 AM
So this year has been swarmingly busy for me! I've got client stuff, work stuff, and trying to do personal stuff when I can but that is slightly hard... Today me and my boyfriend are going to build my very own desktop! Parts are in, now I have to put it together and install programs so that I can efficiently get stuff done! (Sorry laptop...I love you, but you're just not good enough anymore *tear*

Hope everyone out there is doing good and keeping busy YET not too busy! Gotta learn to stop and smell the roses :)

Love Peace & Chicken Grease,

Kim

From the Saskatchewan plains lives a mystical land of opportunities. If you don't mind the moose. With that being said, I'd like to introduce myself as a quirky 20-ish female Web Designer/Graphic Artist/Animator that loves her job and her life so far. Sure, not everything goes right in life, but if all the crappy things lead out to finding the one you love and the job you love, then so be the past and welcome amazing future.

It looks pretty cool.
And very good photos too. What camera do you use?

I'm looking forward to it.

School is going excellent. I'm really getting into what graphic design is all about and feel a lot wiser than just a few months ago. Hopefully it'll come to show in my work.

So - I'm finished here in 1½ months and afterwards I'll be trying to get in at a good education, either here in Denmark or at Rietveld design school in Amsterdam :-)

Thanks! Well I just got a Sony a350 DSLR in May, (I have on the pics, in the sidebar, what type of camera they were shot with :P)

Your school work is definitely making you a stronger design, which is much evident in your work. It is swimming with success!!

Weird how the time has flown by, don't you think? So where would you want to go next, Denmark or Amsterdam?

I think that whatever path you choose, you'll do amazing and you'll always have fans!

Cool.. that's quite good I guess :D

You're sweet =)
Don't know if it's an exaggeration to say my work is swimming with success. I'm still very new to the whole design-thing. But I'm definitly moving forward.

Yes, time's moving by really fast, especially when I'm doing what I really love to do - designing and hanging with some nice people. Don't know where I'll go. I think that maybe I'll give the schools in Denmark a try at first and try to find out more about them. But the school in Amsterdam is supposed to be really good, so I'm in a little dilemma. I think it'll just figure out itself.

The graphic design-scene is very competitive so it won't be easy and I'm far from the very good young designers. But I have all the time in the world :-)

What are you doing at the moment and do you know what the future will bring for you?
